This is "The Wedding Quilt"... I made this for my friends Laurie and Kevin. They were married March 13. Dave and I were honored to be the best man and best girl! It would have been easy to make a quilt for Laurie but this quilt needed to be for Mr & Mrs Hanel... so I decided on a traditional log cabin block arranged in a star. They have a king size bed so it took a month to complete. Gayle McKay did the quilting and as always she did a wonderful job.

So I decided to start a blog... I don't know exactly what I am doing but we will give it a try.

Today is Good Friday and because I work at our church... it is a busy day. DH Dave is off and going golfing and then we will spend the evening taking care of Violet. S is the sweetheart in my cover picture.

I took my Janome in for a tune up yesterday. It was making a bit of noise. He didn't think it would be too much but my sewing room is quiet without her :[ I will use my time to get my sewing room organized and ready to move to my new room. I am still in the planning stages... I haven't told Dave yet but maybe today. I need to have it all figured out in my head before I tell him or he will want to do it before I have it all planned... I need a plan first.
